Zippo Lighter Tricks: The Flesh Torch
This trick is a gamble. If you are successful you can pretty much call the shots for the rest of the evening. On the other hand, if you miss, the humiliation and pain will be overwhelming. Never introduce this trick unless the "victim" has his or her cigarette ready. If the victim is not ready, you will experience what extremely hot flames can do with a index finger. You should also beware that this particular trick is the most macho there is, and should only be used in a suitable setting. Be also aware that this trick requires a Zippo soaked in Zippo fuel.
 |
Lesson One:
Place the Zippo between your thumb, index- and middle finger as shown on the picture. It's important that the index finger is placed so it touches the body of the lighter. Now, snap the Zippo upwards twisting your wrist. Since you hold on to the body of the Zippo, the lighter will snap wide open and spill some Zippo fuel on the tip of your index finger. |
 |
Lesson Two:
Now twist your wrist slightly upwards again while you simultaneously press the cap downwards. |
 |
Lesson Three:
The body of the lighter will bounce up and the striking wheel will encounter with the tip of your index finger. |
 |
Lesson Four:
When the striking wheel produces sparks, they will ignite the fuel on the index finger and you are once again victorious! |
