Zippo Lighter Tricks: The Twist and Flip
This trick is clean as well as pretty uncomplicated. What it lacks in degree of artistry, it makes up for in strong sense of minimalist style and broad field of use. This is a trick for all occasions.

Lesson One:
Hold the Zippo firmly as shown on the picture. Make sure that none of the fingers block the cap. |

Lesson Two:
Tilt the Zippo upwards with a fast twist. Make sure that the twist is done with the wrist only. Using the whole arm is not the way to go. This sudden movement will force the cap to bounce up, revealing the striking wheel. |
 |
Lesson Three:
Flip the striking wheel gently from above to make the Zippo ignite. |
